Natalie Maines, Emily Robison, Martie Maguirel |
The Chicks curremt album has been flying off the store racks. "Fly" has sold over 500,000 copies in it's first two weeks of sales and has spent two weeks on top of both the contry and top 200 charts. The Dixie Chick's debut album "Wide Open Spaces" also still continues to be a hot selling disc. The album has sold over 6 million copies and is certified to have gone 6 times platinum. It's still holding on to a strong position right behind Shania Twain on the Bilboard Top Country Albums.
The Chick's currently are out promoting their new album and in November plan to be touring Australia and also soon Europe. They will be headlining their own tour in the United States starting in June 2000.
